Am I Crazy?

You might think I'm crazy, making a commitment to walk 60 miles over three days. I will be walking from Boulder to Denver, to raise money for breast cancer research. During these three days I will be walking with 3,000 other women and men. We will walk 20 miles a day rain or shine. We will sleep in tents and shower in trucks. It will be ugly (and so will I) I know I will be sore and tired by the end of the three days. No matter how difficult these three days will be, there will be 1 million women with undetected invasive breast cancer in the United States. I am doing this for all of us, because breast cancer is somehting that touches more of each day.

This year more than 180,000 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer.
80% won't have any genetic predisposition to the disease.
More than 40,000 will die.
A woman's chance of having breast cancer in her lifetime is on in eight.
Your chance of knowing this woman is almost 100%.

Hopefully, you will share with me in this effort by offering to support my personal fundraising goal of $5000.

Any help you can give is appreciated. Thank you, in advance for your generosity.
